The room was large and clean, smelled nice. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional, checking in and out was easy. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and well stocked in a clean area. We enjoyed coupons for the lounge and restaurant as well.
Very friendly staff. Big room, big bathroom, just a tad outdated but not old or run down. The shower head could use an upgrade It's not really convenient to downtown Halifax, if that's what you're after, but I'm not down-rating it because we knew where it was when we booked it. If you want something closer to downtown, stay in another hotel!
Excellent customer experience from start to finish. The staff truly went above and beyond — assisting with accommodations for large vehicles, providing extra items we needed, and doing it all in a professional, kind, and personable way. Comfortable beds, a beautiful setting, and a complimentary breakfast with great-quality, thoughtful options made a long travel day so much better. Highly recommend.
This is a great hotel! CJ was very kind and helpful with an issue I had. The restaurant discount was a nice touch also. High quality food better than Uber eats. Clean hotel with good room!

We consistently stay at this hotel whenever we can .The Hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are well put together and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at this hotel. After a long traveling day where we missed our connecting flight due to weather and arriving 7 hours later than planned, we were greeted by Sheila with a warm smile, welcoming us to the hotel. Our room was lovely! The mattresses were so comfortable and inviting. The complimentary breakfasts are amazing! Hot and fresh with numerous choices, after that breakfast, you won’t need lunch. Charmaine makes sure everything stays filled so no matter when you arrive for breakfast, it’s full. Charmaine is so sweet! We already miss our talks with her! One evening we were treated with delicious cheesecake in our refrigerator, from the general Manager Nympa, such a treat to end our day! All of the employees are so accommodating and so friendly everyone says hello. The breakfast area is open through the evening where you can stop and get coffee, juice, talk with friends that you’ve made or refill a water bottle. The hotel is close to many things and close to where you want to go. The Sister hotel that is connected to it has a wonderful restaurant with amazing choices, you don’t even need to leave the hotel you can walk through the hallways it connects. We highly recommend the comfort hotel at Bayer’s Lake as a place to stay, we look forward to going back again!! Kristi and Mitch
